LITTLE DESERT

Read on and/or contact Ralph Patford for further details.

The Victorian Mobile Landcare Group, in conjunction with the VMRG,
is going to search the Little Desert for signs of Malleefowl.
We know they are there but know little of their distribution.

The methodology, which we are pioneering, will be to drive the 800kms of track.
100 metres of each km will be walked by observers and signs of malleefowl
and other fauna noted, photographed and recorded on GPS.

The VMLG will provide the vehicles, drivers and some of the observers.
The VMRG will also provide observers, training and all necessary equipment.

WE NEED AS MANY VMRG MEMBERS AS POSSIBLE TO ATTEND.

Members should refer to a recent email for further details of times, places,
equipment required and what is being provided by the VMRG.
