The Annual Reporting Back Weekend of the Victorian Malleefowl Recovery Group will be held on 17 & 18 May 2025 at the Chiltern Senior Citizens Hall, Conness St, Chiltern.

A light lunch is provided on Saturday 17 May commencing at midday.

Presentations begin at 1.00 pm and close at 4.30pm.

The Reporting Back weekend is the opportunity for members and friends of the VMRG to hear Dr. Joe Benshemesh present the Annual Malleefowl Monitoring Report for the 2024 – 2025 breeding season in Victoria.

Updates on existing and upcoming projects and partnerships will also be presented.

Everyone is invited to join us for dinner at the Telegraph Hotel in Chiltern at diners’ own expense on Saturday evening from 6pm.

A choice of excursions in the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park, led by friends of the park, will be held Sunday 18 May. These include bird-watching, revegetating works, rare and endangered plants, mammal nestbox monitoring and mining history.

Members will be emailed the program and registration will open on 22 April 2025 and close .

To assist with catering, those attending the lunch and presentations and dinner on Saturday 17 May will be asked to register via Eventbrite after 22 April 2025.

Friends and non-members are welcome to attend.
