Join us in our second Large Herbivore Exclusion Exercise in the fenced plot at Boundary Bend. We estimate that 20-30 kangaroos managed to get past volunteers last time. Getting them out should allow the site to revegetate and hopefully encourage Malleefowl to move in and start breeding.

A light lunch will be provided on Saturday 22 August from 12.30-1.30pm at Robinvale Golf Resort, 4240 Murray Valley Highway, Robinvale VIC 3549

This will be followed by a briefing presented by Joe Benshemesh from 1.30pm.

Everyone is invited to join us for dinner at the Robinvale Golf Resort at diners’ own expense on Saturday evening from 6pm. Please refer to VMRG email about pre-ordering your meal. The herbivore exclusion exercise will be held at the site of the Boundary Bend project on Sunday 23 August for those members who can stay overnight.

This involves meeting at Yungera Bush Reserve at 9.30am and walking 1.4km inside a fenced area to give kangaroos an opportunity to move away and leave the exclusion zone. If you can only attend on Sunday you can meet us at Yungera Bush Reserve at 9.30am.
