The Annual Reporting Back Weekend of the Victorian Malleefowl Recovery Group will be held on 16 & 17 May 2026 at the Tooleybuc Country Club Hotel, 51 Murray St, Tooleybuc NSW.
A light lunch is provided on Saturday 16 May commencing at 12midday. Presentations begin at 1.00 pm and close at 4.30pm.
The Reporting Back weekend is the opportunity for members and friends of the VMRG to hear Dr. Joe Benshemesh present the Annual Malleefowl Monitoring Report for the 2025 – 2026 breeding season in Victoria.
Updates on existing and upcoming projects and partnerships will also be presented.
Everyone is invited to join us for dinner at the Tooleybuc Country Club Hotel, 51 Murray St ,Tooleybuc at diners’ own expense on Saturday evening from 6pm.
A herbivore exclusion exercise will be held at the site of the Boundary Bend project on Sunday 17 May for those members who can stay overnight.
This will involve gently encouraging large grazing herbivores i.e. kangaroos to exit the gates so the area can be secured and enable revegetation to occur.
This is a free event and members will be emailed the program prior to the weekend.
